Insomnia threatens our health and our economy

Health is more important than ever. A large part of the population is meticulous about their diet, carefully choosing certain foods and avoiding others. We don’t just count calories, we also count our steps and make a point of hitting the gym regularly. Yet we often overlook a key pillar of healthy living and optimal physical performance: sleep.

Around 30% of the Swiss population suffers from sleep disorders. These frequent and persistent sleep disorders, which affect daily life, are called “chronic insomnia”. More than 10% of Swiss people suffer from this condition.
