As reported by The Guardian on Thursday (22/12/2022), the robotic vehicle known as InSight is said to have delivered the latest message from Mars.

A message posted to the NASA InSight Twitter account claims that the robotic vehicle’s lifespan is decreasing, so this may be the last image sent.
“Don’t worry about me, all my time here has been productive and calm. If I can keep in touch with the mission team, I will.”
“However, my age here will soon end. Thank you for always being with me,” the message explained.
A robotic vehicle equipped with an earthquake monitoring device landed in the Elysium Planitia region of Mars in November 2018.
Since landing, the robotic vehicle has been carrying out geological excavations, making the first earthquake measurements using a high-tech seismometer positioned directly on the surface of Mars.
InSight was developed to listen for earthquakes and tremors as a way to unravel the mysteries of the red planet and how it formed billions of years ago.
According to published mission reports, InSight has measured more than 1,300 seismic events since InSight was implemented.
In fact, more than 50 of them have a clear enough signal for the team to obtain information about the vehicle’s location on Mars.
Last month, NASA warned that the robotic vehicle’s life could end as dust engulfs and interferes with Insight.
