Jeff Grubb as part of a podcast Game Mess Decides reiterated that the next PlayStation Showcase will take place before E3 2023. According to the insider, the presentation will give rise to the second phase of the life cycle PlayStation 5 — most of the games announced before the launch of the console have already been released, and now Sony is preparing many new game announcements.
Grubb noted that the event was originally planned to be held last fall, but many internal studios were not ready to show their new games.. The June PlayStation Showcase should outline Sony’s plans for the next few years.
Recall that this week Sony held a State of Play, which showed new games for the PlayStation VR2 and showed trailers of expected projects from third-party publishers. Showcasing new materials Street Fighter 6, remake of Resident Evil 4 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
