In 2018, Apple released the new generation iPad Pro. These tablets were the company’s first mobile gadgets with a USB Type-C port. From this moment, a similar innovation is expected from the Cupertinians in the iPhone, but here the company is in no hurry to abandon the old Lightning.

Perhaps in 2020 Apple will still decide to change the interface of its smartphones. And it is possible that the company will go even further with their transformation. According to insider John Prosser, before the iPhone with the Type-C connector appears, we will see the iPhone without any connectors.

A well-known analyst Ming Chi Kuo, specializing in Apple, previously spoke about the full transition of the iPhone to wireless charging. Recently it became known that Apple is working on a new type of charging their gadgets, suggesting their integration into a full-fledged ecosystem in which even a MacBook can be charged from a smartphone.

Almost half a year before the release of iPhone 12 (although it is likely that this year Apple’s presentation will linger due to a pandemic), but the smartphone is constantly gaining new rumors. A few days ago appeared the first render of the future iPhone 12 Pro Max with an updated design in the style of iPad Pro. We also know that the new iPhone will receive reduced cutout on display.
