“Inside Look: OPPO Indonesia’s Flagship Find N2 Flip Production Line and Quality Control Process”

This is a form of OPPO’s commitment to respecting the policies of the Indonesian government, regarding the Level of Domestic Content. If previously this factory only produced the A Series and Reno Series, starting April 2023 the OPPO factory in Indonesia will be able to produce a flagship cellphone, the Find N2 Flip.

Flagship Before Find N2 Flip

Presented by an OPPO representative, previously OPPO flagship phones could be marketed in Indonesia with the help of TKDN software. By embedding a number of local applications with a number of specific requirements.

In line with the changes in TKDN rules that require manufacturers to also make their products domestically, the OPPO Indonesia factory has increased its capabilities to be able to assemble all of its cellphones, including flagship products.

Special Production Line

Starting April 2023, the OPPO Indonesia factory added a new production line, specifically to work on the OPPO Find N2 Flip device.

As mentioned above, the OPPO Indonesia Factory specifically brings in a number of tools, one of which is the Degassing Engine. It is a special tool to remove air trapped under the OPPO Find N2 Flip anti-scratch during the production process.

And a humidity machine to ensure that no dust or other particles stick to the OPPO Find N2 Flip.

Around 80 people work on the Find N2 Flip production line, consisting of 60 people in production and 20 people in the packaging department. When compared to other production lines, such as A77s, it only requires 50 people.

The workers who work on the Find N2 Flip special production line are the best workers who have been selected from each post with a test value above the average.

The OPPO Indonesia factory itself refers to them as the dream team.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip production line takes 90 minutes to produce one device to the test without the packaging process.

Quality Control

The OPPO Indonesia factory also shows their seriousness about the quality of the products that are assembled. Through a number of extreme quality tests, such as opening the OPPO Find N2 Flip screen cover up to 150,000 times, dropping it from a height of 1 meter repeatedly, also testing the quality of the camera and charger port.

With strict supervision and production standards, the OPPO Indonesia Factory expressed optimism about the quality of their production which will soon be launched on the 10th of May 2023.
