In Formosa, inoculation against COVI-19 has not ceased since the beginning of the strategic vaccination plan implemented by the provincial government.
In this context, the governor of Formosa, Gildo Insfrán, has announced its continuity, reporting that people over the age of 18 will receive the third booster or fifth dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
This will be given according to the following schedule: Tuesday 27 will be applied in the municipalities of Pirané and Palo Santo; Wednesday 28, in Commander Fontana, Second Lieutenant Perín, Ibarreta and Estanislao del Campo.
While on Thursday 29, health personnel will inoculate residents in the municipalities of Pozo del Tigre and Las Lomitas.
Additionally, he noted that “this booster can be administered as early as 120 days after the last applied dose.”
People over the age of 18 who have yet to receive the second, third or fourth dose can also approach.
Finally, he stressed that “vaccines continue to be the most active preventive action to achieve a healthier life and avoid developing severe cases of COVID-19”.
