The Ukrainian couple Alexandr Kudlay and Viktoria Pustovitova were handcuffed for 123 days. Their conclusion? They are not made for each other.

The couple started their relationship test on Valentine’s Day. By literally chaining themselves to each other, they hoped to save their on-again, off-again relationship. From then on they did everything together and how that went could of course be followed on social media.
On national television they have shed their chains. And they immediately (again) announced their breakup. “I think this is a good lesson for us, and for other couples, not to do this,” Pustovitova told news agency Reuters.
Most of all, she missed her personal space. But she also feels that her boyfriend didn’t give her enough attention. “We were always together, I didn’t get any attention from Alexandr because we were together all the time. He never said ‘I miss you’, although I would like to hear that.’
Kudlay does not regret the experiment. Thanks to the handcuffs, he now realizes that they are not on the same wavelength. “We are completely different.”
