Inox-Color Walldürn: Confident despite bankruptcy proceedings – Book

Walldürn. (jam) The Walldürner company Inox-Color opened insolvency proceedings on December 1st. The good news: “No layoffs are planned and the order books are full,” explains lawyer Erion Metojawho was appointed trustee. According to him, the main case is simply to “free the company from certain wrong investment decisions of the past”. The business graduate from Lauda-Königshofen is therefore confident that the Walldürner company will soon be able to be released from bankruptcy: “This is a prime example of self-administration proceedings.”

Inox-Color is a specialist for the rustproof material stainless steel and has been offering a wide range of solutions in the fields of architecture, building trade, industry, elevator construction and shopfitting for more than 35 years. Over 70 employees at the Walldürn site deal with the mechanical, electrochemical and chemical treatment of stainless steel. “There is no comparable company anywhere in Germany. Globally, we have two or maybe three competitors,” said Operations Manager Klaus Dittrich in the summer of 2018. At that time, Mayor Markus Günther was impressed by the global customer reach of the “Hidden Champion” during a local visit: “It is nice to see that there are medium-sized companies in Walldürn that are world-famous in the industry and customer segment for their quality and high standards.”
