Innsbrucker wants to take out credit and falls for online fraudsters – news from Austria

A man wants to take out a loan from an online bank. But as it turns out, this bank doesn’t even exist. But by then he had already transferred money.

An Austrian caught an online fraudster. The 30-year-old wanted to be loud police take out a five-digit euro loan from an online bank. But as it turned out, this bank doesn’t even exist.

After signing a contract, the man from Innsbruck (Tyrol) registered with the supposed bank on the Internet. He then transferred a low five-digit euro amount in several tranches to get his loan.

Paid in money but got nothing

But the 30-year-old did not get the loan. He reported the case to the police in Innsbruck. The officers are investigating.
