Microsoft is planning extensive changes to its office suite for the summer. It is given a new name and an extended subscription model (see Microsoft introduces the new subscription for life). And not only that: Microsoft also plans to equip the time-honored office with completely new functions using artificial intelligence. Instead of just being a passive tool, Word, Excel and Powerpoint should actively support the user in creative or analytical work.
