Snapchat is incredibly successful around the world, and has been around for 10 years already. There are no less than 300 million active users, and yet the company is still not profitable. However, this time, Snapchat seems to have found THE good idea! Indeed, AR glasses will soon be marketed, and they promise to be absolutely incredible!
Potentially spectacular glasses
Considered to be the first spectacle glasses, it is the only device allowing the capture and export of videos to Snapchat. These glasses already exist, but today we are talking about the second version which promises to be even more incredible. Indeed, these new glasses will have an additional characteristic: the capacity of resistance to water.
Also note that these AR glasses by Snapchat will also be equipped with a second camera. Users will therefore be able to capture 3D clips and use new, even more spectacular effects. They will also have a display system as well as spatial tracking. In short, they will be little technological gems!
A long-awaited innovation
As you can imagine, fans of the genre are eagerly awaiting the release of these new smart glasses to see the world differently. They will be directly connected to the Snapchat application through a smartphone. It will take around 350 euros to get these smart glasses which will allow you to see the real world through a virtual screen, with filters. The price seems rather correct considering the technical specificities of the tool.
At the moment, it is not known when these AR glasses by Snapchat will actually be marketed. Some seem to hope that they will be available at the end of the year but no such announcement has been made yet. To be continued…
