Innova-Fortuner PPnBM Discount Valid April 2021, Here’s the Count Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government’s plan to provide discounts on Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) of cars with a capacity of 1,500 cc to 2,500 cc has reached a bright spot.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the government will immediately announce the incentive in the form of government-borne tax (DTP) when the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) has been completed. He also said that the tax rules for Innova to Fortuner cars could take effect from April 2021.

“The 2,500 cc PPnBM is in the process of finalizing the PMK, which will take effect from April, especially those above 1,500 cc to 2,500 cc, and it will be announced once the PMK is finished,” Sri Mulyani said in a press conference for the National Budget in vitutal, Tuesday (23/3/2021).

Sri Mulyani previously revealed that the discourse on providing incentives for cars with a cylinder capacity of 2,500 cc was a direction from President Joko Widodo.

During a working meeting with Commission XI of the Indonesian Parliament some time ago, Sri Mulyani revealed that the policy would be given to cars with the condition that the domestic component level was 70 percent.

“So we are making improvements, as long as 70 percent TKDN can reach 2,500 cc, this will address the issue of several requests for monbil over 1,500 cc in the PPnBM relaxation given,” said Sri Mulyani during a work meeting with Commission XI. DPR RI, Monday (15/3/2021).

Until recently, magnitude PPnBM discount that will be given has not been disclosed by the government.

However, if using a similar scheme for vehicles under 1,500 cc, then in the first three months of the incentive policy, the PPnBm that will be collected is 0 percent, or it is free.

Although there are not many types, some of the cars included in this discount category include the Toyota Fortuner and Innova.

For the Toyota Fortuner, currently priced from Rp. 512 million (type 2.4 GM / T) to Rp. 711.6 million (type 2.4 VRZ A / T 4×4).

The PPnBM rate for the Toyota Fortuner itself is 20 percent. Meanwhile, the sale value of motorized vehicles (NJKB) 4×2 2.4 GM / T Diesel is taken from Permendagri No.1 of 2021 for IDR 382,000,000 and a weight coefficient of 1,050.

The PPnBM calculation itself includes (NJKB x weight coefficient) x PPnBM rates (20 percent).

Thus, the PPnBM value collected for the purchase of this type of car is IDR 80.22 million.

Assuming the price on the road (OTR) is Rp. 512 million, the Fortuner purchase price with 0 percent PPnBM is Rp. 431.78 million.

Meanwhile, the Toyota Kijang Innova is currently priced from IDR 342.4 million (2.0 GM / T Petrol) to IDR 445.7 million (type 2.4 VA / T Diesel).

With the Innova type 2.0 GM / T Gasoline NJKB of Rp. 256 million and a weight coefficient of 1,050 and a PPnBM rate of 20 percent, the value of PPnBM collected is Rp. 53.6 million.

Thus, if the PPnBM rate is 0 percent, the purchase price of this type of car is IDR 288.64 million.
