Killer teenage boy Hiromi Terawa had pretended to be shocked when the corpse of the junior high school student was found in an empty lot near her house. The 18-year-old teenager even admitted that he was trembling when he heard the news of the discovery of Hiromi Terawa’s body.
Reported by Japan Today, Sunday (29/1/2023), the tweet of Hiromi Terawa’s killer was revealed after he was questioned by the police in March 2014 or about six months after the discovery of the junior high school student’s body. The teenager wrote several times on Twitter as if shocked by the news of the murder Hiromi Terawa.
“This is really dangerous… The body of a junior high school girl was found where I live in Asahi… She was said to be a Yokkaichi Girls Middle School student… My hands can’t stop shaking,” the perpetrator tweeted at the time, on the date Hiromi Terawa’s body was found.
“The police came to my house ( ；∀；) Looks like they’re going around asking people who live near the scene (○_○)! !” he tweeted again.
“A Nippon Television reporter came to my house ( ｰ̀дｰ́ ),” the boy tweeted the following day.
He also posted several lines such as: “Police are very tense” and “We will definitely get our peaceful city back!”. The teenager continued to tweet actively until February 26, 2014.
Even after killing Hiromi Terawathe teenager, who has not been named because he is still a minor, is still attending the prefectural high school as usual, and graduated on March 1.
Even before his arrest, he wrote on Twitter that he had found a job, along with other details about his daily life.

During the trial, the teenager also pleaded guilty to killing Hiromi Terawa. He told the court he did not know the girl and his intention was to rape her and then rob her.
“I wanted money. (Laughs) not my acquaintances, and I did it myself,” said the teenager who was eventually sentenced to five to nine years in prison.
