Injury Update: Shayne Pattynama Withdraws from Indonesian National Team Squad

Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – Shayne Pattynama is included in the list of 24 players called up by coach Shin Tae-yong, to strengthen the Indonesian national team for the FIFA Matchday agenda against Turkmenistan, 8 September.

The match against Turkmenistan will be held at the Gelora Bung Tumo Stadium, Surabaya. The Garuda squad is planned to start gathering on Monday (4/9/2023) today.

However, bad news came from Shayne Pattynama. The player canceled joining the Indonesian national team due to an injury.

The news of Shayne Pattynama’s absence was confirmed by the Head of the National Team Agency (BTN), Sumardji.

“Yes, he was injured. He didn’t (come to defend the Indonesian National Team),” said Sumardji when confirmed, Monday (4/9/2023).

Shayne Pattynama was then dropped by Shin Tae-yong from the squad list due to an injury. Apart from him, three other players called up for the agenda against Turkmenistan were injured.

They are Dimas Drajad, Yance Sayuri, and Yakob Sayuri. However, the three players are still closer to Surabaya and have joined the Indonesian National Team.
