At the start of the week leading up to the home match against Lecce, Ansa took stock of the injury situation at the rossoblù’s home: Bohinen has soleus problems and will be out of action for at least two weeks, Haps suffered a sprained knee with injury of the left medial collateral ligament while Aaron Martin has to overcome an injury to the left external obturator muscle. Finally, Messias suffered a traumatic injury to his right adductor. Gilardino will recover Matturro, blocked by the flu before the away match against Salerno, and Koni De Winter from suspension: the only injured person that Genoa can recover is Sabelli who, as Ansa explains, must overcome the “strain in his right adductor”.
