Two people were injured in a stabbing at the Beverwijk Red Cross hospital. A suspect was later arrested on the Spoorsingel.

The incident was reported in Vondellaan at around 8.15pm. Several police cars were called to the scene.
A police spokesperson said the stabbing did not take place in the hospital but nearby. He also points out that they are not medical personnel.
What exactly happened is under investigation.
