Because of this, one of her kidneys almost stopped working and her only salvation was to get a new kidney. Unfortunately, finding a suitable organ donor is not easy at all. But her best friend at the time, actress Francia Raisa, readily offered to donate a kidney to Selena. So it can be said without the slightest exaggeration that she saved the life of the young star.

There are no excuses

However, a year after the operation, the friends separated and stopped communicating with each other. The alleged quarrel between them arose due to the fact that France did not like that Selena did not appreciate the donated kidneys and was not willing to give up alcohol even after her transplant. Then they reconciled again for a while but now they don’t seem to talk to each other anymore. Recently the documentary My Mind & Me was premiered, dedicated to Selena Gomez and, above all, to her illness and, of course, to her own transplant. Unfortunately, Selena forgot to mention her donor name in the documentary, and it hit France. Instead of apologizing after her, Selena vicariously attacked her: “I’m sorry I didn’t mention all the people I know,” Gomez wrote to Stephanie Tleiji’s tiktok videowhich deals with the dispute between the two women.

The fans were divided into two halves

Some people have taken sides with Selena on social media, saying her former friend’s reaction to the new documentary has been a bit overblown. Others, on the other hand, reproach her for having disrespected her friend and for not having appreciated her donated kidney. At the same time, her fans noticed that shortly after the premiere of the documentary France unfollowed Selena on social networks.

In July, when Selena Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday, it seemed that all was well between the two women. Selena has invited France to her big party. Now their relationship has reached the freezing point and Selena isn’t doing much to fix it, because in an interview with the Rolling Stones magazine she let it be known that her only true friend of hers is the singer Taylor Swift. But even this controversial statement has become the subject of speculation, because according to her acquaintances and friends of hers Selena only talked about people from the music industry. And Francia Raisa is not one of them. Since the two women share an organ donation as important as a kidney, it probably won’t be long before they find their way back to each other.
