A 37-year-old from the Freising district drove his Unimog in the right-hand lane. The 27-year-old from the Eichsttt district also drove his car in the right-hand lane, behind the truck.
According to the police, he drove into the Unimog at about 0.10 a.m., probably due to alcohol-related failure symptoms. As a result, the 27-year-old’s car came off the road to the right, drove up the embankment, then came back onto the road and stopped at the end of the acceleration lane across it.
Nobody was injured in the accident. When the accident was recorded, it was found that the 27-year-old had the equivalent of around 2.28 per thousand alcohol in his blood. The driver’s license was confiscated and a blood sample was taken.DK
