Immersed in daily routine and debts, Jasmīne, her husband Artis and grandmother Gertrude manage their daily lives in their country house. Until one day Jasmīne’s mother Laura arrives, bringing Michael with her. This arrival will not only disrupt the daily flow, but will also disturb Jasmīne’s soul, says the description of the show.

Speaking about the upcoming production, Petrenko added: “Life teaches us to react correctly to events and people. To play different roles, thereby protecting ourselves from pain.

There are many situations and we are afraid to put on an inappropriate mask. But most of all, we are afraid to show that we are only human. But what if being human is our only task?

This play is about the great despair that sets in when it seems that nothing good will ever happen in life, and about the opportunity we are given to change everything at the root. About the unanswerable question – can the passion we choose to follow give life, or can it only kill.”

The role of Jasmīne was entrusted to the actress Kintija Stūrei, Rolands Beķeris, Anda Albuže, Karīna Tatarinova, Edgars Ozoliņš, Gatis Maliks, Anete Berķe, Sandis Pīsis, Laura Jeruma also take part in the performance.

The director has also invited set designer Marija Ulmanis, costume designer Baiba Litinas, composer Jūlijas Melngails and lighting designer Oskars Paulinas to the creative team of the show.

Until the end of the year, the show can also be seen on November 12, 19 and December 3.
