Data protection information according to Art. 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the event INFOSIC2024 – “The hackers are coming!”
The Saxon State Chancellery collects and processes data for the purpose of preparing and carrying out INFOSIC2024 – “The hackers are coming!” personal data.

3. General information on data collection and processing:
The State Ministry of Justice and for Democracy, Europe and Equality processes the personal data salutation, title, first and last name, email address and job title for the purpose of preparing and carrying out the INFOSIC2024 – “The hackers are coming!” based on Art. 6 (1) (1) (b) GDPR.
In addition, photo and video recordings taken during the event will be processed on the basis of consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. This serves the purpose of follow-up reporting on the event.
The data will not be passed on to third parties. Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries.
If the data processing is based on consent, this can be revoked at any time. However, this does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
Within the Saxon State Chancellery, only those persons who are entrusted with processing the personal data for the purposes described above will have access to the data.
The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. The data subject is not obliged to provide the personal data. However, participation in the event is not possible without providing the data.
There is no automated decision-making in the Saxon State Chancellery.
If the consent is revoked, the data will be deleted immediately. Otherwise, the data will be stored until December 31, 2024 saved and then deleted.
The Saxon State Chancellery receives the personal data salutation, title, first and last name, email address and job title via the participation portal operated by the Saxon State Chancellery.
4. Rights of the data subject:
The data subject has the following rights vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the personal data concerning him or her, provided that the statutory requirements are met:
- Right to information, Art. 15 GDPR
- Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR
- Right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR
- Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR
- Right to object to the collection, processing and/or use, Art. 21 GDPR
- Right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR
- The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
