The Aguas de La Habana Company informs users residing in the city center that due to maintenance work and repairs on the conductors and electrical lines that feed the Cuenca Sur supply source, it will be necessary to interrupt the water service. next Wednesday, October 11, between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

For this reason, the water service in the following areas and districts will be affected:

Plaza de la Revolución Municipality: the water service to the lower and intermediate area of ​​the municipality will be affected, except for the Hospital area and sectors surrounding Loma del Príncipe.

Cerro Municipality: the water service to the Rptos will be affected. Martí, Cepero Bonilla, Casino Deportivo, Santa Catalina, Palatino, Las Cañas, Popular Council Atarés and part of the Latin American Council.

Central Havana and Old Havana Municipalities: the water service in both municipalities will be affected.

Municipality of October 10: the water service to the Luyanó neighborhood and part of Sevillano will be affected.

Boyeros Municipality: the water service to the Miraflores Nuevos, Ciudad de la Construction, Altahabana, Capdevila, Embill, and Río Cristal districts will be affected

Once the maintenance and repair work is completed, the water service will gradually be restored to its normal schedules.

The company apologized to the affected users for the inconvenience caused, but this did not prevent it from receiving many comments on social networks.

“Is this going to continue every week? These interruptions are already common and water is now received every 3 days, if it is missing when appropriate, what do we do?”, claimed a resident.
