Information seminar on good practices for managing cases of missing children, organized by “Smile of the Child” in collaboration with the Municipality of Ioannito.
The seminar in question was the continuation of the coordinated actions and joint actions implemented by “The Smile of the Child” and the Municipality of Ioannito, as defined in the Partnership Agreement, with which the partnership of the two sides was sealed in March 2023.
The Mayor of Ioannina, Dimitris Papageorgiou, was present at the opening of the works, who praised the cooperation between Hamogelos and the Municipality.
Deputy mayors Gianna Mamakis, who had opened cooperation with the Municipality’s Volunteer Registry, were also present, as well as deputy mayors Christina Kotsantis and Giannis Aivatidis.
During the seminar, which was attended by over 40 executives from the Municipality and other organizations, the “tools” used by “The Smile of the Child” were presented, such as the 116000 line (European line) and the “Amber Alert” alarm, as well as the “Missing Alert” for which it operates the 1017 line, which concerns adults from 18 to 60 years old.
