Danny St-Pierre, Varda Étienne and Caroline St-Hilaire are among the headliners of QUB radio’s summer programming, which is in tune with the hot season which begins with a brand new sunny schedule focusing on information and entertainment, starting Monday, June 21.
Before the arrival at the microphone of the new “morning man” Philippe-Vincent Foisy, in the fall (more precisely August 16), it is Danny St-Pierre who will accompany us in the early morning for the next eight weeks at QUB .
Curious and energetic, the well-known chef, who has been in the QUB universe for a year as a columnist, will chat from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. about the multitude of social issues that concern him. Our jack-of-all-trades will not be afraid to assert themselves loud and clear and to ask relevant questions, surrounded by equally quick-witted collaborators, including Richard Martineau, Félix Séguin and Sophie Durocher.
In the range from 10 am to 12 noon, Alexandre Dubé, nicknamed “the information marathoner” and passionate about politics, will dissect the news of the day, accompanied by “heavyweights” of opinion, seasoned voices à la Gilles Proulx, Yves Daoust, Elsie Lefebvre and Yasmine Abdelfadel.
Vincent Dessureault will take over at the start of the afternoon. Until 3 p.m., the journalist and host will also scrutinize hot topics and issues of current affairs, supported by emeritus figures such as Mathieu Bock-Côté, Félix Séguin, Luc Laliberté and Nada Boumeftah. Then, at the time of the return home, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., make way for two feminine personalities full of poise and glib, Varda Étienne and Caroline St-Hilaire. Paired in tandem for their daily rendezvous, the two ladies with initially opposed temperaments, but also similar in many aspects, invite listeners to follow them in their lively and never boring conversations. Marc-André Leclerc, Danny St-Pierre, Anaïs Guertin-Lacroix and several others will take turns to spice up the discussions.
As for the weekends, they will be devoted to the best times of the week, and The car guide continues Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and Sunday, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
You can listen to QUB radio on qub.radio, on the mobile application or at position 601 of illico terminals. Quebecor’s digital platform this spring broke a viewing record of 1.4 million users between March 1 and May 30, an increase of 4% of users compared to spring 2020.
