Badenova’s plans on the Internet.
(BZ). The potential for developing deep geothermal energy on the Upper Rhine is well known: Badenova has applied for an exploration permit for exploration from the regional council of Freiburg through its daughter Wärmeplus (the BZ reported). The company now wants to inform citizens in the municipalities concerned in detail about geothermal energy and involve them in the process from the start, according to a company statement. The majority of the mayors had recently shown interest in the form of energy in a BZ survey.
In around two-hour regional conferences that are taking place online due to the corona pandemic, citizens from the 19 affected communities and cities can find out first-hand about deep geothermal energy, the potential in the region and the planned investigations of heat plus.
The dates of the regional conferences are next Wednesday, November 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. After registering via a link (see below) you will receive a confirmation with further information. A dial-in test will be offered the day before the events for those who are not familiar with the Webex program.
The Badenova company wants to research the potential for deep geothermal energy in Bad Krozingen, Breisach, Buggingen, Ehaben, Ehrenkirchen, Eschbach, Freiburg, Gottenheim, Gundelfingen, Hartheim, Heitersheim, Ihringen, March, Merdingen, Müllheim, Neuchâtel, Pfaffenweiler, Schallstadt and Umkirch.
