Caregivers encounter different clinical pictures and people for whom they are responsible on a daily basis. The tasks they perform in the various facilities of the St. Elisabeth Group are just as varied: taking blood, preparing infusions or changing bandages – all this and much more is care. Training as a nursing specialist offers entry into the nursing profession and the opportunity for a wide range of development and career opportunities. The nursing school of the St. Elisabeth Group – Catholic Clinics Rhein-Ruhr will present the three-year training course on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. as part of an information evening. August and September 1st.
As part of the general nursing training, the trainees are taught together in the first two years and thus gain an insight into all areas of nursing. These include nursing, pediatric nursing and elderly care. “In the third year of training, the trainees can then decide on one of these areas as their later professional focus,” explains Sabine Dreßler, head of the nursing school.

At the information evening on February 21, 2023, employees of the nursing school will present the training and give tips for the application.
