“Infonavit introduces mejOraSí loan for housing improvement in Chiapas”

The National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) together with the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Tuxtla Gutiérrez and the Municipal Economy Secretariat of the capital city, presented in Chiapas the loan for housing improvement aimed at the and workers who no longer contribute to social security, called mejOraSí.

Said credit ranges from 4,856 pesos to 139,000 pesos, with an interest rate that goes from 0 to 4%, depending on the amount requested, in addition to having a term to pay of up to five years, it has death insurance and permanent total disability.

It should be noted that, in the event of non-payment in three months, Infonavit uses the balance of the Housing Subaccount for early settlement. In Chiapas, more than 183,000 people can request this financing since they have resources in their Housing Subaccount, even if they do not have a current employment relationship, added the delegate of this institution in the state, Rocío Terán Cruz.

Hugo Armando Porras Pérez, president of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, went on to comment that this credit also benefits the local economy and businesses affiliated with the organization, since, through it, they will be able to increase your sales. In addition, he pointed out that to identify the participating companies, they will have a visible badge in their establishments where the image of Canaco Tuxtla and Infonavit will be appreciated, with the name of the credit.

It is important to point out that if the person who acquires this credit is formally employed again, the employer will apply the corresponding withholdings to pay the credit and the contributions will be paid to capital.

The requirements to request MejOraSí are: have a minimum amount of 5 thousand 400 pesos in the Housing Subaccount, authorize the consultation with the Credit Bureau, that the house in which the repairs will be made is inhabited by the beneficiary, either that is in your name or recognized before the Public Registry of Property or that the legitimate possession is accredited and fill out a socioeconomic questionnaire.

Workers who meet the profile must enter My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx) to find out the savings they have in their Housing Subaccount and process this new financing.
