The Institute of the National Fund for Housing for Workers (Infonavit) developed the New Service for Confirmation of Credit Procedures, through which employers will carry out the confirmation of the credit processing of their workers electronically.
This service will begin operations on July 12, 2022 and will replace the receipt of the Notice of Withholding for Origination in physical format for the employer and the notary.
That is, workers who are processing a mortgage or non-mortgage loan (Mejoravit and ConstruYO) will no longer have to take this document to their employer to be signed and return it to the notary to integrate it into their financing file.
With the New Credit Processing Confirmation Service, workers will have available in My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx) the Notice of Discount (which replaces the Notice of Withholding for Origination) is an informative document and it will not be necessary to deliver it to the employer.

As soon as the worker receives this Discount Notification, it is essential that they notify their employer, so that they can access the Business Portal site (empresarios.infonavit.org.mx), in the section “My procedures”, option “Process of credit”, where you will confirm with your electronic signature that you are aware of the credit process that your employee is carrying out.
Once the electronic confirmation is carried out through the Business Portal, the Confirmation Acknowledgment will be generated, which workers can consult in My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx).
This document will indicate that the credit process has already been confirmed by the employer and the notary will be able to proceed with the home titling process, in the case of mortgage loans, until the financing is formalized.
Likewise, when the notary formalizes the credit, the employer can download the Discount Withholding Notice from the Business Portal, to begin deducting the monthly financing payment from their workers’ salaries.
In this way, Infonavit seeks to encourage the registration of employers in the Business Portal and the use of electronic signatures, mitigate identity theft and simplify the conformation of the file in notaries for the signing of housing deeds.

Infonavit added that, during the months of May and June, it carried out various training sessions in which employers, housing chambers, CMIC and Canadevi, business chambers, Coparmex and Concamin participated; AMECH, certification entities, social security specialists, individual promoters and housing developers, financial entities, the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants and the National Association of Mexican Notaries about this change.
Employers who are not yet registered in the Business Portal will have up to six months to do so and go through the electronic confirmation process.
Meanwhile, they will continue to operate through the previous mechanism, that is, by signing the Notice of Withholding for Origination in physical format for their workers who initiate a credit process.
