TEPIC, Nayarit (OEM-Informex) .- In order to support the beneficiaries of Infonavit, whose homes were affected by the passage of Hurricane “Roslyn”, the staff of the institute carried out a census to detect the houses that suffered damage of some kind.
The head of said unit in Nayarit, Juan Manuel Cienfuegos, explained that he had already visited several municipalities in the affected area, such as Rosamorada, Tecuala, Acaponeta and Tuxpan, finding 38 damaged houses so far, however he accepted that this number could increase in the next days.

The official recalled that Infonavit homes have non-life insurance that applies immediately if it is regularized with its payments, otherwise, if the insurance is updated, it covers fires, floods, falls of fences, trees or hurricanes.
After assessing the effects, the insurer delivers the appeal within 10 days so that the beneficiary can repair their home or acquire the lost property.
Cienfuegos added that the amount that is delivered can reach up to 40 thousand pesos, but this will depend on the damage. Even if it is a total loss, the person is compensated, keeps the land and, in addition, can open a second loan.
