INFODIGITAL – waipu.tv: Football summer and numerous films

The European Football Championship is in the starting blocks. We’ll finally start on June 11th. With the German IPTV provider waipu.tv, users can not only watch live games in HD, but also detailed team presentations, highlight and background reports in high resolution and from the front row. For all other entertainment fans, exciting film and series highlights will also be available live and on demand in June.

Between June 11th and July 11th, a total of 51 games will be played in the European tournament, which will be held in several countries for the first time. Sports fans can enjoy almost all the games with waipu.tv on the first and on ZDF in HD.

With waipu.tv the matches of the soccer tournament can be watched live and in HD on ARD and ZDF, including of course all preliminary round matches of the German team – on June 15 against France, on June 19 against Portugal and on June 23 against Hungary – as well as all quarter and semi-finals and the final on July 11th in London. If you don’t make it home on time for the kick-off, you can simply watch the respective game on the go. If you want to watch the highlights or complete encounters again at a later point in time, you can also conveniently record the games with just one push of a button.

Via SPORTDIGITAL FUSSBALL and kicker.tv, waipu.tv users also have additional access to high-quality content on the upcoming soccer tournament. From the beginning of June, SPORTDIGITAL FUSSBALL will be offering detailed and high-quality researched presentations by the participating teams within its media library on demand at any time. The channel kicker.tv also has a lot of content on the major event, including press conferences as well as preliminary and background reports, also via its media library, in its program. At kicker.tv, waipu.tv viewers can also find the highlights of the day on demand every day after the games.

Film and series highlights in June

Waipu.tv also has numerous film and series highlights in its luggage for the month of June for non-soccer fans. Sci-fi, action and drama fans as well as fans of timeless comedy classics get their money’s worth in June. SYFY – part of the pay-TV channel package at waipu.tv – will show the first part of the Oscar-winning science fiction horror work “Alien” on June 19 at 8:15 pm. The other three parts with Sigourney Weaver in her star role as Alen Ripley will be broadcast on SYFY on the following three days at 8:15 pm. The recording function allows fans to record all parts in their personal recording memory and view them later.

“Oblivion” with Tom Cruise will also be broadcast on SYFY on June 30th at 8:15 pm. The gripping science fiction film shows a post-apocalyptic scenario in which the earth is devastated by a war between humans and aliens.

From June 14th, the biography “Liberace – Too much of a good thing is wonderful” can be seen on the VoD channel Arthouse CNMA. The drama, staged by director Steven Soderbergh, focuses on the life of star and show pianist Liberace and his relationship with his partner Scott Thorson.

waipu.tv users and fans of the timeless classic “Dick und Doof” should turn their attention to the TNT Film channel in June. Seven films from the legendary satire series by the comedian duo Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel will be broadcast there. After the broadcast, which will take place every week from June 6th, waipu.tv users will also find the individual films in the TNT Film Mediathek.

One year late, it is finally done: the UEFA Euro 2020! On June 11, the soccer tournament starts with the game Turkey against Italy in a very special form: for the 60th anniversary of the competition, the soccer event will not be held in one host country, but across Europe.
