Several works related to the construction of the new pavilion and the Verdun Hospital footbridge will begin in August 2021.
Nature and duration of the work
During this period, the work will be carried out in different phases and will include: deconstruction, pile driving and excavation work.
Work schedule of site teams
Monday to Friday
- 7 h at 19 h – deconstruction and excavation
- 7 h at 15 h – pile drilling
Estimated duration of this work: August 2021 in spring 2022
Impacts of the works
Circulation
Increase in heavy truck traffic in the area.
Vibration, noise and dust
Truck and machinery traffic, pile driving and excavation work could generate vibration, dust and noise.
Measures implemented
The site was secured by fences. A signaller will be on site to ensure safe traffic at the site entrance.
The site area will be watered as needed and a protective membrane will be installed on the site fences to reduce dust.
