Today, we went to visit the Hop – La Boucle association, winner of our participatory budget, which has created a third place dedicated to reuse and the circular economy.
Behind this ambitious project, 3 women and volunteers who work daily to animate this place of life:
a recycling center, to give a second life to second-hand items that will be resold at low prices.
a repair workshop to learn how to repair everyday objects (household appliances, textiles, furniture), run by a volunteer.
a cafeteria café, which offers local products while respecting sustainable food, where it will be possible to work and where events, exhibitions, shows, etc. will also be organized.
participatory workshops: making homemade household products, zero waste sewing, creative hobby in recycling for children …
The opening is scheduled soon, and deposits are already possible.

The Department of Gironde has signed a partnership agreement with the association and provides funding to the tune of € 30,000.
