The Secretary of Health Daniel Díaz Martínez reported that 74,944 doses were allocated for Health Jurisdiction IV to be distributed in the 6 municipalities with the objective of protecting the population against the different genotypes of the virus.
He recalled that the vaccine that will be applied is a quadrivalent dose that attacks four viruses and that it will be applied to girls or boys from 6 months to 4 years and 11 months, pregnant women, older adults (60 years and older) and health personnel.
For his part, Dr. Uver Martínez, head of jurisdiction IV, added that the biological will be distributed in the following way to the municipalities, 28,039 doses for Acámbaro, 3,178 doses in Coroneo, 14,141 doses for Jerécuaro, 24 1,154 doses in Salvatierra, 1,740 in Santiago Maravatío and another 3,692 for Tarandacuao.
The jurisdictional chief invites the entire population to go to their nearest health unit to receive the vaccine as soon as possible since it takes 21 days for the body to generate the antibodies that create immunity for protection against this cold season. .
