456 infections of other respiratory viruses have also been diagnosed and, of these, 63% correspond to respiratory syncytial virus, 14% to enterovirus/rhinovirus, 9% to parainfluenza, 9% to metapneumovirus and 3% adenovirus.
The states with the most influenza
With 249 confirmed infections, Nuevo León is the federal entity with the most cases of influenza so far this season. Zacatecas follows, with 144, and Mexico City, with 78.
In fourth place by number of infections is Yucatán, with 65, and in fifth position is Puebla, with 59.
Regarding the 11 registered deaths, each of these occurred in Campeche, Colima, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Puebla, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Yucatán and Zacatecas.
