Influences and singer Rani Petersen (25), better known under the stage name Reiley, was the Danes’ great hope during the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023. There he performed the song “Breaking my heart”, but the musical talent had to go home exhausted before the spectacular final.
Although the Danes voted him straight through to the international final, he received just one point in the semi-final, and thus the ESC adventure was over.

Even though it was not a complete success for the Danes in the international singing competition, Reiley has several strings to play, as he has over ten million followers on the platform TikTok.
In other words, it is not kicking in open doors to claim that Reiley is a popular man, but now it may seem that his large following has failed him.

When he was recently scheduled to perform at the Danish festival Bøgeskoven, there were several people who reacted that there was hardly a single audience member who had actually turned up to attend his concert, writes Danish Se og Hør.

Danske Se og Hør estimates that there were around 25 people who had turned up at his concert – the rest are believed to be journalists and photographers.
