Local teenage idol, influencer Lauris Zalāns won laurels at the “Kid’s choice Awards” award ceremony of the children’s brand “Nickelodeon”, receiving the award “Latvia’s favorite influencer”, TV3 channel reports to the “Delfi” portal.

The ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles, was filled with extreme performances, illusions and other elements of the show. Recognizable musicians, actors, athletes and other celebrities attended, while actor Adam Sandler received a special award for his outstanding career.
Among the luminaries of the world, the name of Latvia also shone at the ceremony – in the category “Latvia’s favorite influencer” Lauris Zalāns won the award, who beat Elīna Pakalni, Kristaps Graufeld aka Joret and Adriana Miglānis in the vote.
Last year, the same award was won by culinary influencer Juška Padruska, who has more than 80,000 followers on the “TikTok” platform. Lauris Zalāns can be proud of less than 60 thousand fans on this website.
The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder was named this year’s favorite children’s TV show, while the family favorite series went to the popular series “Wendsday”, whose lead actress and rising star Jenna Ortega won the award for favorite TV star.
“Stranger Things” actress Millie Bobby Brown, actor Dwayne Johnson, musicians Taylor Swift and Harry Styles and many other celebrities also received awards. The ceremony can be viewed on “Paramount+”, which is available in Latvia on the Go3 platform.
