Influencer Kristin Gjelsvik Reveals Shocking Details of Past Engagements and Breakups

Last summer, influencer Kristin Gjelsvik (37) could reveal that she had found love again, after she and Dennis Poppe Thorsen (31) went their separate ways after ten years as lovers.

– Many bad experiences

Before the breakup with Thorsen became a fact, they had their son Falk (4) together and also managed to get engaged.

However, it is not the first time the 37-year-old has had a ring on his finger. Now she reveals on Snapchat that she was proposed to already as a 21-year-old when she was still living in Bergen with her boyfriend of six years.

Gjelsvik says that the proposal came completely out of the blue – and that she did not feel ready for such a commitment.

– I was so young and not ready to get married at all, but I had been with this guy for a long time. I remember it so well because he proposed on New Year’s Eve in front of all my friends at 12 o’clock during the fireworks. A lot of people knew about this, except me. And I was so put out, she says.

Choked in tears: – I’m so tired

Furthermore, the influencer admits that she was in a completely different place in life than her boyfriend. An engagement was not in the cards for her.

– So I considered leaving him. I just needed so much time to take that step and end it. Suddenly he’s sitting there on one knee on New Year’s Eve, and what the hell are you doing? When you really want to say no? Do you say yes? I did, but you absolutely shouldn’t.

Dagbladet has been in contact with Kristin Gjelsvik, who has no further comments on the matter.

Million loss: – Damn ridiculous

The reason why Gjelsvik landed on a “yes” was because she felt the need to take into account the situation, her boyfriend and everyone around her who had been looking forward to the proposal.

– Everyone cheered and clapped and thought it was absolutely fantastic. As I sat back and just thought, “Damn it, am I going to get married? Wow”. Then I was very much in favor of it and had intended to marry him. But there was so much that went wrong and so much that was so wrong, she reveals.

It was a friend’s trip to sunny Bulgaria, specifically Sunny Beach, that made her realize she had to take action and end it.

There was never a wedding and the engagement was broken off. New adventures awaited Gjelsvik, who soon after the break-up took the moving load with him to Oslo and started a new life there.
