Infirmary: Will Kimpembe be back for PSG/Reims at the end of January?

Injured since the beginning of November and flat-rate for the 2022 World Cup, Presnel Kimpembe hopes to be able to resume with PSG by the end of January, indicates RMC. The central defender could consider a return for PSG/Reims (29/01).

PSG are still awaiting the return of Presnel Kimpembe. Injured to the Achilles tendon in early November, the Parisian central defender was forced to sit out the World Cup with the Blues. Since the acquisition of the club in the capital, the Frenchman has not yet resumed collective training.

Before Strasbourg’s reception at the Parc des Princes last week (2-1), Christophe Galtier had indicated that his number 3’s absence would continue for next month. According to RMC, Presnel Kimpembe is aiming for a return to competition before the end of January, with the match against Reims ahead (29/01, 20:45).

His situation is evolving positively and a point should be made next week, also according to RMC. Meanwhile, the native of Beaumont-sur-Oise patiently takes his troubles and multiplies cures to give himself the means to drive Ligue 1 meadows back as fast as possible.
