Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Infinix made a splash in the smartphone industry in Indonesia because it suddenly shined amidst a sluggish market. In the Q1 2023 report, HP Infinix shipments rose 36.4% year-over-year (YoY).
The Chinese manufacturer also seems to be more optimistic about experimenting. Recent reports say that Infinix is about to launch a new smartphone that mimics the eccentric design of the Nothing Phone (2).
This cellphone will focus on gaming performance, by embedding the ‘GT’ frill. The rendering of the HP display has also been circulated on the Infinix Community XClub forum.
On the back, there is a dual camera and is decorated with access to the LED light a la Nothing Phone (2). This immediately caught the attention of Nothing CEO Carl Pei.

According to leaks, this cellphone will be present in August. For information, Nothing Phone has not officially entered the Indonesian market. Meanwhile, Infinix has been around in Indonesia for a while.
If it is true that Infinix will make a product similar to the Nothing Phone (2), it is not impossible that the HP will also be brought to RI. However, it could also be that the device is only presented for certain markets, for example India.
