Infinix, along with Tecno, strives to become a leader in the Russian market. Open secret: Infinix and Tecno are two brands owned by the same company. And, according to statistics from MTS, the total market share of these two brands in units is 24%. Market leader Xiaomi has 30%. However, it is quite likely that this year the Infinix + Tecno tandem will win in pieces. Both brands invest heavily in promotion, while the same Samsung and Xiaomi pretend that they are not officially on the Russian market.
By the way, unlike POCO, which claims to be a brand independent from Xiaomi, but in fact often remakes models of the Redmi sub-brand, Infinix and Tecno smartphones are quite different from each other both in content and design.
Note that Infinix is still behind Tecno in the sense that the brand still does not have a flagship smartphone, and in general the entire model range is in the segment up to 30 thousand rubles. This is great news for the buyer, because subjectively, in terms of price-performance-quality ratio, Infinix outperforms both Tecno and realme.
So, let’s move on to the selection, which is actually quite simple, because Infinix is also good because it has a fairly compact lineup, in which, at current low prices, we simply choose top-end smartphones.
Infinix is sold in all retail stores, but for simplicity and convenience of prices, we will look at Ozon. However, before purchasing, we recommend going to the official Infinix website, in the “Where to buy” section, see the entire list of stores, and then check the prices in each. For example, now there is a sale on Ozon, and there the Note 30 Pro costs 16,636 rubles, on Wildberries – 19,720 rubles, and in DNS – 19,999 rubles. But the next day the picture may change, and the best price will be in the CSN or on Wildberries.

Infinix Note 30 Pro
Price: 16,636 rubles
The Infinix Note 30 Pro should be considered in the context of price. For example, if the device was sold for 20-22 thousand rubles, then it would be just a normal smartphone. But on sale for 16.5 tr. with free shipping, this is just a steamed bun that you need to quickly buy for yourself, your wife, your brother, your matchmaker and your dog.
The Note 30 Pro is an entry-level gaming smartphone with a good screen and a 108 MP camera. Plus it has an excellent package package. In addition to the smartphone, they will give you a cool transparent plastic case, additional protective glass (not film, but glass), a 68 W adapter and even a set of stickers in honor of the collaboration with the shooter StandOff 2.
For 16.6 tr. Infinix Note 30 Pro will delight its owner with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with narrow frames and a neat cutout for the camera. The screen, by the way, is quite advanced. There is 10-bit color (can display more than 1 billion colors), a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 900 nits, and an Always-On display function. The testing of the smartphone took place in the summer, so, as you can see from the photo below, the screen is quite readable on a fine day outside.
The strong point of Infinix smartphones is its design. Once upon a time, Infinix was a French company, but even after the purchase by the Chinese, as they themselves claim, they maintained a design center in France. Whether this is true or not, in principle, does not matter. More important is the fact that smartphones look good. The downside, of course, in this case is that the shiny edges of the case quickly become covered with fingerprints.
There are stereo speakers and a collaboration with JBL. The author of the review wrote about the sound like this: “At the top end there is a speaker with a fashionable JBL signature. Nice collaboration. Subjectively, I don’t rate JBL very much, but I love their collaborations with electronics brands. JBL gives both smartphones and laptops what the user needs most: louder technology! The speaker of a smartphone still cannot be compared to a full-fledged speaker. But increased volume is very appropriate.”
Under the hood in the Helio G99 smartphone. An excellent entry-to-mid-level chipset. It’s great for playing PUBG or Standoff 2. Separately, we note that in the AnTuTu test the chipset beats the results at the top level and also does not suffer from throttling. Throttling is a drop in performance due to overheating. Plus, the smartphone is designed for gaming, so there is a nice option – power bypassing the battery. That is, you can play from the network without using up charge and without wasting resources.
The smartphone has good battery life (8 hours 17 minutes at maximum manual brightness – that’s good!), fast charging 68 W. And there is not only wireless charging, but also reverse wireless charging, that is, you can, for example, recharge your headphones (if they support this).
And finally, a few words about the camera. Front camera 32 MP. It shoots clearly and boldly. The main camera is 108 MP. It comes with a pair of 2 MP modules, which you shouldn’t pay attention to.
It’s better to evaluate the photo quality in a smartphone review. There are many daytime and nighttime examples.
You should take Infinix Zero 30 5G, not 4G
Price: 29,785 rubles
This is the most expensive smartphone in the selection. Compared to the Infinix Note 30 Pro, for which they ask for almost 2 times less, it does not look so attractive. But the main feature here is the cameras.
We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that Infinix has two models of this device. One has a 5G chipset, and the other has a 4G Helio G99 chipset. And there is no need to take the 4G version. It costs 8 thousand less, but it has a less powerful chipset, a simpler set of cameras, and cheaper materials and design. Instead of the 4G version, it’s better to take the Infinix Note 30 Pro.
And we are talking about the 5G version. This is the brand’s attempt to make a premium photo smartphone with gaming inclinations. Design and materials are responsible for premium quality. There is Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, and there is also a version with a back panel made of eco-leather in a pleasant green shade.
The combination of the Dimensity 8020 chipset with a 6 nm process technology (726,000 points in the AnTuTu 10 test), 8/12 GB of RAM, a 256 GB UFS 3.1 drive and an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a refresh rate of 144 Hz is responsible for gaming inclinations. However, the screen was made curved, which, of course, is a little less convenient for games. It can be assumed that the designers won the argument, saying that the smartphone looks more beautiful this way. Peak screen brightness is 950 nits, 10-bit color.
Another nice thing: the smartphone has stereo speakers and Wi-Fi 6. The battery is 5000 mAh, the adapter is 68 W. Everything here is like the Note 30 Pro. We don’t have a sample on hand, so we can’t say for sure, but in theory there should also be a power supply function that bypasses the battery.
Finally, about the cameras. Infinix says the smartphone is for bloggers. So, the front camera is 50 MP and supports 4K video recording at a frame rate of 60 FPS.
The main set of cameras is also remarkable. The main 108 MP sensor has optical stabilization. Already good. And the second ultra-wide-angle module was set to 13 MP (usually they save money and set it to 8 MP). There is also 4K video recording.

You should buy Infinix GT 10 Pro, not Note 30 VIP
Price: 23,000 rubles
If you compare the characteristics of the Infinix GT 10 Pro and Note 30 VIP, it turns out that these devices are practically clones. The advantage of the Note 30 VIP is more powerful charging (68 W versus 45 W), as well as the presence of wireless charging. But the price difference between these two smartphones is almost 10 thousand rubles. Well, here everyone decides for himself whether he is ready to pay more for wireless charging or whether he can plug in a Type-C cable and spend the saved money in some other way.
So, now on to the Infinix GT 10 Pro. This is the brand’s first gaming smartphone, the main difference of which is its bold design and built-in backlight. It also comes with an orange charging cable.
The backlight looks like this:
The LED backlight on the Infinix GT10 Pro is made only in the form of a scale on the side of the camera. The scale blinks during charging, games, notifications. The promotional site says that the scale can flash in time with music played through supported applications.
The screen here is the same as that of the Infinix Note 30 Pro (which was discussed at the very beginning of the article), so there should be no problems with brightness on a summer day. There is also an AMOLED panel displaying 1 billion colors, 120 Hz with Always-On function, and a peak brightness of 900 nits.
The key feature of the smartphone (besides the catchy design) is the Mediatek Dimensity 8050 chipset. The 8050 is a slightly redesigned 8020, which is installed in the Infinix Zero 30 5G. So the performance of these smartphones is the same. The AnTuTu 10 test scores about 730 thousand points. And this is more than enough to enthusiastically play any game, including Genshin Impact.
And also, to emphasize the gaming ambitions of the smartphone, they added an overlay that displays the frame rate and other not particularly important, but interesting details.
An additional plus in karma for the fact that the shell of the XOS 13 GT Edition was cleaned to a shine. Infinix says it wants to achieve a “pure Android” feel. This is noticeable in the minimal number of pre-installed applications. And also that almost all applications can be, if not deleted, then disabled. You can even disable the proprietary Palm Store application store.
The set of cameras here is exactly the same as that of the Infinix Note 30 Pro: front camera 32 MP, main cameras 108 + 2 + 2 MP. However, since the GT 10 Pro has a more powerful chipset, there is support for 4K video shooting (the Note 30 Pro only has 1440p). Well, the quality of the photographs is almost identical.
Infinix Note 30
Price: 12,900 rubles for 8/128 GB
In this case, again, the ratio of price and characteristics comes to the fore. At a price of 13 thousand rubles, the buyer receives, in our opinion, one of the best options with the G99 chipset. Compared to Redmi smartphones, they offer less powerful chipsets for the money.
The main differences from the Note 30 Pro are the screen (also 120 Hz, but IPS LCD, not AMOLED), as well as the main camera 64 MP (not 108 MP) and the front camera is not 32, but 16 MP.
At the same time, all other features (stereo speakers, power bypassing charging) are there. So if you need a budget smartphone for gaming, then here it is, the solution.
We got our first look at this smartphone.
Conclusion
Infinix is very good in the 15 to 25 thousand segment. The brand provides prices and features that competitors such as Xiaomi, realme or Samsung cannot compete with.
One of the disadvantages characteristic of Infinix is the vague update system. As we understand, updates arrive only on older models.
As always, we invite you to have your say in the comments. It will be better if you offer alternatives. For example, if the Infinix Note 30 Pro is rubbish, then what is better at this price?
