Infinix GT 10 Pro: The First Model from Infinix GT Series to Launch in Indonesia

KOMPAS.com – Infinix is ​​preparing to launch a new smartphone in Indonesia, namely Infinix GT 10 Pro. The smartphone is somewhat special because it is a new model brought to Indonesia.

Previously, the Infinix GT series line had never existed in Indonesia. A number of models released by the company so far include the Zero, Hot, Note and Smart series.

Therefore, the Infinix GT 10 Pro will be the first model from the Infinix GT series line to be marketed in Indonesia.

According to posts by Infinix Indonesia on social media including Instagram, Infinix GT 10 Pro will be released in Indonesia on Monday, 21 August 2023.

In the same upload, Infinix said that the smartphone supports gaming activities, accompanied by superior mechanical design and performance. Unfortunately Infinix has not leaked the technical specifications of the cellphone.

Even so, leaked specifications of the Infinix GT 10 Pro have been circulating on the internet. Moreover, this smartphone has been released by the company globally in early August.

Although it is not certain what the specifications of the Infinix GT 10 Pro will be in Indonesia, the specifications for the global version of this cellphone can be an illustration.

Global version of Infinix GT 10 Pro specifications

The global version of the Infinix GT 10 Pro has a rear design similar to the Nothing Phone (2), with a semi-transparent body. Judging from the posts on Infinix Indonesia’s Instagram, the design of the Infinix GT 10 Pro is likely to be exactly the same as the global version.

Infinix GT 10 Pro presents a cyberpunk-style futuristic design, “Cyber ​​Mecha”. The back contains a large camera module, which includes three cameras and an LED flash.

This module is also equipped with four interactive mini LED lights that can be adjusted as desired. This mini LED light can emit light when the user gets a phone call, is playing a game, is charging, and so on.

The Mini LED can also produce light according to the rhythm of the music being played. Regarding the screen, the Infinix GT 10 Pro carries a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and Full HD Plus resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels).

This thin-bezel screen also supports a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a maximum brightness level of 900 nits, and PWM dimming of 1,920 Hz.

Turning to the back, there is a 108 MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.75 and a sensor measuring 1/1.67 inches. This main camera is accompanied by two 2 MP lenses, but Infinix does not reveal the full specifications of the two cameras.

Both the front and rear cameras support 2K resolution video recording at 30 FPS or 1080p at 60 FPS.

In the kitchen sector, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 System-on-Chip (SoC) with 6 nm.

This chipset consists of eight cores (octa-core) including four Cortex-A78 units (clockspeed 3.0 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 units (clockspeed 2.6 GHz), with a Mali-G77 graphics processor (GPU).

This chipset is combined with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Users can expand their storage up to 1 TB by using a microSD card. The RAM capacity can also be expanded up to 8 GB by using the virtual RAM feature.

Infinix GT 10 Pro relies on a jumbo battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh with 45 Watt fast charging technology.

This smartphone also has a Bypass Mode feature, which allows the cellphone to charge directly to the mainboard. That way, the temperature of the cellphone remains stable with an average temperature down to 2-7 degrees Celsius.

Users don’t need to worry when playing games while charging the smartphone.

Moving on to the software aspect, this device runs the Android 13 operating system (OS), polished with the Pure XOS 13 interface (UI). Infinix promises to reduce the number of default applications installed on cellphones, and remove all advertisements.

Other supporting features include an in-display fingerprint scanner sensor (fingerprint in-display), 4D vibration technology, 5G connectivity, stereo speakers, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and Bluetooth.

Infinix also presents smartphone sales boxes that can be used to place cell phones while charging, or to act as sound amplifiers.

Global version of Infinix GT 10 Pro price

Infinix GT 10 Pro is available in two color choices, namely Cyber ​​Black and Mirage Silver.

This phone will be sold at a price range of 240 – 250 US dollars (around Rp. 3.6 million – 3.8 million).
