Infinity Ward explains exactly how the subway will work in Call of Duty: Warzone

This Tuesday, September 29, the sixth season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone kicks off. As we are used to, developer Infinity Ward is making changes to Verdansk, the map of Call of Duty: Warzone, with the start of a new season. This time a metro will be added and after we already got the map of the metro system yesterday share, we now also have more information about how exactly the metro will work in the game.

In total there will soon be seven metro stations in Verdansk. At the start of each game, a few stations are open. Every station has exactly the same layout, so that makes orientation a bit easier. In the stations you can also find Supply Boxes and therefore the necessary loot, as well as Contracts. You can of course also enter the metro, where you can also find weapons and other tools that can help you in battle.

The metro is, as it were, a new fast travel system, Infinity Ward explains. Stations will be served regularly, so you won’t have to wait very long to get on board. The metros can travel the route between the stations in either direction.

You do not have to worry about leaving a metro and then entering an area that is no longer in the ‘safe circle’. Stations outside the circle will be skipped. Furthermore, the metro is considered “the only truly safe place”, as the trains will not move when there is fighting on board. A moving metro is therefore the ideal place to catch your breath and check your equipment.

If you really want to get out of the metro system quickly, you can find ladders at every station to easily escape. This escape route can easily save you a visit to the Gulag!
