Infiniti has developed a special version of the luxury QX80 SUV for the Rebelle Rally, in which only women compete. Calmini Products from California also took part in the project. The special car was produced in a single copy.
The car was equipped with additional body protection, new bumpers, off-road tires and tow hooks. The ground clearance of the SUV has grown to 76 millimeters.
The SUV is equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 engine producing 405 hp. and 560 Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Team Wander Women received a special QX80, Crew: driver Nicole Wakelin and navigator Alice Chase. The race takes place in California and Nevada, the total distance is over 2000 kilometers. The rally participants are prohibited from using navigation devices – they only have compasses and road maps at their disposal.
Currently Team Wander Women takes 24th place in the race. A total of 30 teams take part in the rally. The first place in the race is now taken by Team Killer Watt in the Rivian R1T 2020 off-road pickup truck. The competition will end on October 17th.
