Infiniti develops rally version of QX80 for female crew – Motor

Externally, the Infiniti QX80 for Team Wander Women is easily recognizable by its heavy-duty metal bumpers, “army” footpegs, “mud” tires with a high profile, as well as an unusual livery. The engine and transmission modifications were not reported, so the standard 5.6-liter petrol “aspirated” with 405 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque remained under the hood.

The Rebelle Rally marathon has a number of features: only female crews are allowed to participate, you cannot use high-tech navigation tools during the race – only paper maps and a compass. The route runs over sand dunes and rocks near the US-Mexico border, and the competition lasts for ten days, from October 8 to 17.
