There are 25,271 new ones contagion on Monday, November 9, against 32,616 yesterday, but with 147,725 swabs, almost 44 thousand less than yesterday and almost 90 thousand less than the record reached last week. The positive / swab percentage remains stable, from 17.06% yesterday to 17.1% today. Deaths increase, 356 (yesterday they were 331), for a total of 41,750 victims. This is what emerges from the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. In intensive care they are 100 more (now 2,849), ordinary ones rise by 1,196 (now 27,636). The total number of discharged and healed rises to 345,289, 10,215 more than yesterday.
LOMBARDY
In Lombardy in the last 24 hours 4,777 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded, with the total now rising to 276,531. This is a decrease compared to the 6,318 new positives recorded yesterday, a figure which however also reflects the lower number of swabs carried out in the last 24 hours and equal to 21,121 compared to the 38,188 of the previous day.
CALABRIA
Today in Calabria there were 4 deaths, 14 recovered and 443 new Coronavirus positive cases (new regional record) out of 2,196 people subjected to swabs. In the last 24 hours in Calabria 20.1% of the subjects tested were positive, the highest figure since the beginning of the pandemic in Calabria, for the first time even higher than the national average (which today is 17.10% ).
EMILIA ROMAGNA
In Emilia Romagna there are 2,025 new positives, of which 829 asymptomatic, out of a total of 12,471 swabs performed. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is now 16.2%. In the last 24 hours there have been 8 new deaths. The number of patients admitted to intensive care has grown to 204, more than ten compared to yesterday, and those admitted to the other Covid departments: 1,939 in total with an increase of 103 people.
LIGURIA
There are 538 new positives in Liguria today (349 in the Genoa area), compared to 3,130 swabs carried out in the last 24 hours. In total, the swabs carried out since the beginning of the emergency are 489,301 and the positive 36,968. There are currently 1,479 hospitalized (+64 compared to yesterday), of which 92 are in intensive care. The patients in home isolation are 11,242 (+249). 21 deaths registered in the last 24 hours, for a total of 1,937 victims since the beginning of the emergency.
VENETO
There are 2,223 new cases of Coronavirus registered in Veneto in the last 24 hours, thus bringing the total from the beginning of the pandemic on 21 February last to 81,492 cases. There are also 21 more deaths than yesterday, for a total of 2,595. In hospitals there are 113 new admissions to non-critical wards (for a total of 1,580), and 10 new patients in intensive care, for a total of 203.
LAZIO
The new positives in Lazio are decreasing. “Today, out of over 22 thousand swabs, 2,153 cases are recorded”, announces the regional health councilor, Alessio D’Amato. Yesterday the new positives were 2,489 out of over 24 thousand swabs performed. As for the deaths, there are 16, exactly like yesterday. The healed in the last 24 hours are instead 241.
UMBRIA
The cases of patients currently positive in Umbria rise to 10,001. Compared to yesterday, when the number of infected was 9,805, there are 196 new positives and 9 deaths. This is learned from the monitoring published on the Region’s website.
VALLE D’AOSTA
94 new cases of positivity were detected in Valle d’Aosta for a total of 4,336 total positive cases. With the two deaths today, the number of victims rises to 207. This was announced by the Region.
PUGLIA
There are 730 new cases of Covid registered in Puglia, compared to 103 tests for the infection carried out. The cases are divided as follows: 276 in the province of Bari, 62 in the province of Brindisi, 81 in the Bat, 155 in the province of Foggia, 98 in Lecce, 54 in Taranto, 4 cases of residents outside the region. 7 deaths have been recorded in the province of Bari Since the beginning of the emergency, 605,356 tests have been carried out and 28,431 people have tested positive. 7,774 patients recovered. 17,813 are currently positive cases.
TUSCANY
In Tuscany there are 65,190 cases of Coronavirus positivity, 2,244 more than yesterday (1,780 identified in the course of tracing and 464 from screening activities). New cases are 3.6% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 6.6% and reached 19,116 (29.3% of total cases). The swabs performed reached 1.227.725, 13.690 more than yesterday. 7,135 subjects tested (excluding control swabs), of which 31.5% were positive. To these are added the 1,269 rapid antigenic swabs performed today. The currently positive ones are 44,480 today, + 2.4% compared to yesterday. The hospitalized are 1,776 (76 more than yesterday), of which 234 in intensive care (8 more). There are 33 new deaths: 17 men and 16 women, with an average age of 82.4 years. These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of requests from the National Civil Protection – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. The average age of 2,244 cases today is approximately 45 years.
SICILY
Still 27 deaths and 1,023 new cases. This is the balance of the coronavirus emergency in Sicily. There were 8,458 swabs, for a positive percentage of 12%, a sharp decline compared to yesterday’s (16%). Another 10 admissions to intensive care (from 177 to 187), a record number of recovered: 524.
FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 320 new infections have been detected (2,324 swabs performed) and 5 deaths from Covid-19. This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. The people tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 15,048, of which: 4,594 in Trieste, 5,984 in Udine, 2,709 in Pordenone and 1,579 in Gorizia, to which are added 182 people from outside the region. The current cases of infection are 7,929. The number of patients being treated in intensive care has risen to 46 and to 319 hospitalized in other departments. The deaths totaled 456, with the following territorial subdivision: 227 in Trieste, 113 in Udine, 104 in Pordenone and 12 in Gorizia. The totally recovered are 6,663, the clinically recovered 97 and the people in isolation 7,467.
ABRUZZO
There are a total of 15143 positive cases of Covid 19 registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency. Compared to yesterday there are 625 new cases (aged between 6 months and 96 years). Of the new cases, 208 refer to already known outbreak traces. There are 106 positives under the age of 19, of which 29 in the province of L’Aquila, 16 in the province of Pescara, 18 in the province of Chieti, 43 in the province of Teramo. (The total is 1 unit less as a duplicate case was eliminated). The death toll of patients recorded 6 new cases and rises to 602 (aged between 56 and 92, 2 in the province of L’Aquila, 1 in the province of Teramo, 1 in the province of Pescara and 2 in the province of Chieti). The number of positive cases also includes 4669 discharged / cured (+77 compared to yesterday).
