Lara Switten (35), a Flemish ‘mom blogger’ and columnist, will be diagnosed with cervical cancer on 17 August 2020. The year that follows is a true rollercoaster. Together with best friend Ine Nijs (32) she writes columns about the horrible disease, which form the common thread of the book ‘Lara’. Less than a year later, on August 10, 2021, Lara passed away. Ine: “All this time she hoped for a miracle.”
