Inequalities, 400 thousand euros allocated to finance social inclusion and mobility projects

BOLOGNA – Unipolis Foundationthe corporate foundation of Unipol Group, launches the ACT – Aspirare Call. Involve. Transform, an initiative, in line with the new three-year strategic plan 2024-2026, aimed at projects aimed at promoting a more inclusive and supportive society. With a total allocation of 400 thousand euros, the call is aimed at Third Sector organizations and other entities involved in the fight against inequalities, in the promotion of sustainable mobility and in the improvement of welfare.

The main purpose of the Notice. It means supporting the most fragile people, facilitating access to opportunities, autonomy and rights, thus contributing to the creation of an active and inclusive citizenship. The objective is to encourage the protagonism of young people, the integration of migrant people and the promotion of gender equality.

The three areas of activity.

· Inequalities for projects that combat geographical, generational and gender disparities, supporting solutions capable of promoting human, cultural, social and economic growth of people and societies;

· Mobility for proposals that guarantee people-friendly mobility, accessibility of urban and extra-urban areas, especially through the promotion of conscious use of the road in support of solutions for sustainable mobility and greater liveability of cities;

· Welfare to encourage initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life by responding to the emergence of new needs and reducing the gap between needs and services, stimulating actions to protect the universal right to psycho-physical well-being, in favor of correct nutrition, physical activity and psychomotor, also offering access to social and health services to those who have access difficulties.

The deadlines for submitting applications. Until 1pm on 31 October 2024, interested organizations throughout the national territory will be able to submit their applications via PEC to the address [email protected]. Each individual may nominate only one project, using the templates provided on official site. The activities must be carried out in Italy starting from January 2025, with a maximum duration of 24 months and final deadline by December 2026.

A contribution of up to 100 thousand euros per project. Among all the proposals received, those selected will receive a contribution of up to a maximum of 100 thousand euros per project, which will cover up to 75% of the total costs. The financial support will be disbursed in two tranches: an initial one at the start of the project and a final one at its conclusion, following the sending of the report.
