The energetic rock music trio “Indygo” has published a new composition “View through the Window”, which was created in collaboration with the talented sound engineer and musician Gati Zaķi.
A video has also been made for the song “View from the Window”, and it experienced its first public performance on Friday, in a concert at the floating art gallery “Noass” in AB dam. It could not be said that it experienced a huge public response: Indygo fans were more happy with the band’s old songs, after which the live sound was long overdue – the last concert of this band was nine months ago.
“I think this is a colossal song! It was so easy for the band to work with Gati – a musician who feels and understands the twists and turns of our ideas, so there should have been no different outcome, ”Mārtiņš Vaters, the vocalist of the island group“ Indygo ”, briefly and concisely By the way, such a musical collaboration is not the first time: the band already has two studio albums created in such a collaboration – the English “Decoy”, as well as the 100% Latvian “Stars”. “The nearest plans are to play a handful of concerts in August, the concert plan for September and the following months is already being arranged, but, as we all have a good idea, something can already change with public events in the world and also in Latvia,” Mārtiņš thinks.
This “handful of concerts” currently looks as if Indygo would like to apply for the title of this year’s most active Latvian concert group – in addition to the already mentioned event “Noasa”, the group is scheduled to perform at Valmiermuiža Brewery in Valmiermuiža until the middle of this month (August 13). “Fontaine Gypsy Camp” in Liepaja (August 14) and Riga bar “Nemiers” (August 19).
