Indycar: Road America schedule and program

This weekend is the Road America Grand-Prix in an indycar. Here is the program for this race weekend.

Kevin Magnussen’s debut at the wheel of an IndyCar Series

Kevin Magnussen, who claimed his first IMSA victory as a rookie last weekend in Detroit, made his IndyCar Series debut a week later. McLaren SP has appointed the Dane, who was once a Formula 1 regular driver with McLaren, to replace injured IndyCar regular Felix Rosenqvist. Indeed, this weekend’s race will take place at the Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, and Magnussen will make his IndyCar debut there without further delay.

Rosenqvist was the victim of a serious accident in the first race of the double confrontation at the Detroit circuit last Saturday, when the accelerator of his McLaren Chevrolet got stuck.

Kevin Magnussen’s past with McLaren in Formula 1 included the 2014 season as a regular driver and the 2015 season as a test and reserve driver. He finished second in the standings at the 2014 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, for his grand prix debut, which was the best result of his entire Formula 1 career. This career continued with the Renault and Haas teams after McLaren.
