A fire broke out in an industrial complex in Seo-gu, Incheon, destroying six factories.
At one point, the fire department issued a response level 1, mobilizing all fire department personnel and equipment, and a warning text message was sent to residents.

A fire broke out at a plastic manufacturing plant in the Gajwa-dong industrial complex in Seo-gu, Incheon around 10:30 this morning.
As the fire grew stronger, the fire department issued the first level of response, mobilizing all fire department personnel and equipment.
Firefighters have been working to extinguish the fire for several hours.
Black smoke continues to spew out, and the nearby factory appears to have been completely burned down, with only its skeleton remaining.
The first stage of response was lifted after 6 hours, but 6 buildings of the factory were burned.
Additionally, two rescue workers were injured while extinguishing the fire and were taken to the hospital.

″Because the space between the buildings was a bit narrow, I think the fire probably continued to spread.″
The fire department had difficulty extinguishing the fire as there were many factories built with sandwich panels, which are vulnerable to fire.

″Sandwich panels have many unique features that make it very difficult to extinguish a fire if a fire breaks out. Because of this, fire suppression is taking a long time.″
As toxic smoke spread, the city of Incheon sent out a text message to nearby residents telling them to be careful about safety.
Police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of the fire with factory officials.

A fire broke out on the 4th floor of a 15-story officetel in Oncheon-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan around 2 PM today.
The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes, and during the evacuation, 8 people were injured and taken to the hospital, 3 of whom suffered serious injuries.
