Industrial Activity in Europe Shrinks: Belgium Hit the Hardest

Despite falling energy prices, industrial activity in Europe is shrinking. And the outlook is not good. If we compare this year’s industrial activity with that before the corona crisis, nowhere in the eurozone has the situation deteriorated more than in Belgium.

In the news: The manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) continues to contract in the Eurozone.

The index, compiled by S&P Globalfell for the sixth month in a row, from 43.4 points in June to 42.7
